Overview of Our Services

David and Helen Belchamber offer to review the bursarial management of schools at a price that they can afford. This can be either an overall review or it can focus on a specific aspect that causes concern. The review is done from documents and information supplied by the School and a visit to see various key personnel.

Specific services we offer include:

• assisting Governors with the appointment of a new bursar
• carrying out an appraisal of a bursar
• briefing an aspiring or inexperienced Head on the role of a bursar
• carrying out a review of workloads for bursarial and accounting staff.
• reviewing teaching staff workloads
• reviewing teaching staff salaries and benefits

Should the school appoint a bursar with little or no experience of the job, we would be happy to carry out a "handholding" exercise for a short induction period.
